IBA town is a rural community and the headquarters of Ifelodun Area Council in the northeast of State of Osun, Nigeria, West Africa. It is neighbored by Ikirun town in the west, Inisa town in the east and southeast by Okuku town. It is on the latitude and longitude coordinates of 7.96905 N and 4.703880 E on the world map respectively. The time zone is WAT (UTC+1).

This agrarian community has a population of about 50,000. The men who are predominantly and productively hard working in cash and food crop agricultural production are estimated to be about 30%. Women that engaged in commercial palm oil and cassava production population are about 40%. Young people are made up of about 30%. They hope to mechanize their farming process for increased productivity.

Iba as a rural community of culture and commerce could boast of facilities such as; a primary health care center that hardly care for the residents due to bad shape of the facility and shortage of medical personnel; three school premises focusing on elementary, middle and high school, but hardly can the three schools provide the knowledge and understanding expected of learning institutions due to poorly funded academic environment and personnel; though a cultural community, the contemporary religion has find its way into the town, but the buildings housing the faithful are dilapidated, yearning for reconstruction and renovation.
